Terms and Conditions
Membership:
We deliver fresh produce and other hand-selected local products each week from April until Thanksgiving. By joining, you are agreeing to receive a box of freshly-packed produce tailored to your preferences during that time frame. You can schedule vacation or suspend a scheduled delivery for any reason as many times as you like as long as you do so before the web store closes and orders to the farms are finalized. If you forget to suspend a delivery, we can arrange for your box to be delivered to a local charity on your behalf to ensure the produce is not wasted. Contact us for more information.
Your membership automatically renews from one growing season to the next but you may contact us to cancel your membership at any time.
Payments:
There is a $15 packaging fee accessed at the time you become a member. This fee allows us to buy packaging to serve all of our customers. For existing members, this fee is accessed annually in April, prior to the first delivery. The fee assumes you return waxed cartons, box liners, ice packs and other re-usable packaging (such as plastic berry containers) from week to week. If you do not return such material, we may ask you to pay an additional fee during the season to cover cost of replacing material not returned.
You may choose to put a balance on account with us. Any unused balance is fully refundable. If you choose to put a balance on account, we will automatically charge you and reduce the balance on the date of your scheduled delivery. When your balance reaches zero, the same amount will automatically be charged to your credit card, replinishing your balance to its original level. You may also choose to be charged weekly on midnight the night you receive your delivery.
E-checks or credit cards? Paying by e-check is the process of electronically providing the same information that is on the bottom of a physical check and authorizing us to charge your bank account a stated amount. We prefer e-checks because we are charged fewer fees by the guys in suits, as compared to credit cards. More money to farmers and less to Wall Street! You may use a credit card if you prefer. A routing number is the first set of nine numbers on the bottom a physical check. It corresponds to your bank. Account numbers may vary in length and correspond to your specific account within the bank. Its that simple.
Quality:
