    Where's the local food?

Over the winter of 2013, I accepted what I thought was going to be a "job" as the CFO of the Summit Church.  The church where i publicly proclaimed my faith in 2008 and have attended and served regularly since.  I had a plan for how this job was going to be a middle ground that would allow me to keep a foot in the world of accounting and finance AND continue to grow and develop the farm.  As he is prone to do, God has made it clear he had a different plan, and the job has turned into an opportunity to be part of his mission that has captured my imagination and passion in ways i had not predicted, leading me to cancel the 2013 CSA Season and take a slower approach to developing the farm.

If you were part of the 100+ people that had become part of the extended farm family during 2011 and 2012, thank you so much for your support!  Getting to meet and interact with y'all at Evergreen Nursery, Summit West Club Campus, or in your neighborhoods was THE best part of growing the farm.  Community is a lost concept in too much our country today and I experienced through y'all how much fun true community is.

I invite you all to come and check out the Summit Church, its a fantastic place full of regular, flawed, people who value community and believe in showing others the same grace that God showed all of his children.  I'll post more info about the farm here and to the farm facebook page as it becomes available.
